Hyperchips has more than 15 years’ experience tuning vehicles, from supercars and runabouts to lorries and tractors. We supply custom-written tuning files for all vehicles which you can then upload yourself with a compatible tool. Our software is being run on thousands of ECUs with perfect results. 

Our custom tuning files are actually being used right now by other reputable remapping companies and garages. We supply custom tuning files to anyone and everyone. The benefit to you is reduced cost and a consistent product. 

Our modified files are not off-the-shelf products and are in fact custom written by our experts. This means every tuning file is different. We modify the ECU file we receive taking into account the age and mileage of the vehicle and more. We extensively test our files out on the road to maintain our high-quality standards. 

How it works

The way our tuning file service works is simple: upload your ECU file to our website, send it to us, and we will rewrite it for you. The file we send back can be saved and upload to the ECU in your own time. You can use any of the following tools to upload your new Hyperchips custom file:

What can we tune? 

We write software for most ECUs and therefore most vehicles. Whether the engine is petrol, diesel or hybrid, we can write new, better software for it. 

We can modify ECU files for performance, economy or a mixture of both. Most remaps are for both. These result in a power and torque increase of around 20% on turbocharged and supercharged vehicles. Economy remaps result in a power and torque increase of around 12% while performance remaps boost power by up to 40%. 

We do stage 1 and stage 2 tunes, including pop and bang / crackle maps. All you have to do is specify what you need when you order. You can list your mechanical modifications and we will modify your ECU file to suit which you can then upload yourself. We can also remove the EGR, DPF, Speed Limiter, Throttle valve actuators, Intake/manifold flaps, Lambda O2 Sensor, Adblue, Stop start, MAF, DTC code’s from the file, although any such modification should be for track use only. We never use generic files.
