  • BMW M2 F87 remapping through the OBD port
  • Hidden tuning – allows us to include a CVN fix for warranty claims
  • Revert to stock – lets us quickly revert the ECU back to stock for warranty claims

From December 2017, we can remap and tune all new BMW M2 (F87) models through the OBD port. All BMW M2 models are powered by the N55 engine, whose ECU we can now read, write and copy thanks to new state-of-the-art OBD equipment.

Our BMW M2 remap produces powerful, desirable results. The N55 engine in the BMW M2 is tuned to 365bhp and 369 lb-ft at the factory. A Hyperchips remap results in a excellent power and torque increase, which means your beloved BMW M2 will have around 420bhp and 405 lb-ft of torque when we are finished.

After remapping, the BMW M2 retains its perfectly balanced nature but simply develops more power and torque throughout the rev range. The turbo spools up sooner, harder, and delivers a bigger sucker punch throughout the mid-range. Top-end power is much-improved too with the M2 feeling more eager to rev out to 6,500rpm.

Remapping a BMW M2 unleashes the inner beast. BMW have already announced the development of a hardcore 400bhp BMW M2 CSL, due out in 2018. You can have a larger power output for a fraction of the price through us. Interested? BMW M2 – Our take

The BMW M2 is regarded by some as the best M car on sale today, because it has successfully gone back to basics. It might be the least powerful M car of the bunch, but with rear-wheel-drive, an electronically-controlled, multi-plate limited slip-differential, a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine and the option of a manual or DCT transmission, the M2 connects you to the road in a way that few modern performance cars do.

Handling, balance and character, then, are the M2’s key selling points, although the performance aint’ bad either. The 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine has a 365bhp and 369 lb-ft output, which will see the M2 from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds if equipped with a DCT transmission. It makes excellent use of its power too, despite its RWD setup, thanks to wide 19” (265/35 R19) tyres.
